NEW GARBAGE PICKUP SCHEDULE BEGINS JUNE 8 2020


Waste Management has let us know that our City has grown too large to do garbage pick up on one day. They will be moving garbage pick-up to 5 days a week.
 
  • Trash (green can w/green lid) pickup is every week..  
  • Recycle (blue can) pickup is every other week on the same scheduled day as trash.
  • Green Waste (green can w/yellow lid) pickup is every week on the same scheduled say as trash, March through November. Residents only pay for green waste 9 months of the year.

The only holidays that will delay service are New Years Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Garbage, Recycle & Green Waste

Bluffdale City contracts with Waste Management to manage our trash, green waste and recycling pick-up.

Participation in the solid waste collection and disposal program is mandatory for each single-family and two-family residence located in the city. The city manager shall cause each residence to be billed monthly for the service to be provided and may bring an action to enforce collection for the collection and disposal service made available to the resident. (Ord. 2008-07, 4-8-2008)

 If you need new service, submit an application for services on the main utility page.
If you need cans added, removed or replaced, complete this FORM.
 
If your cans did not get emptied on the scheduled day, you can call Waste Management customer service at 801-280-8200 or the city at 801-254-2200. Note that your missed garbage may not be picked up the same day you contact us.
