Bluffdale City was incorporated as a municipality in 1978 and is located at the south end of Salt Lake County. The current population of the city is approximately 8200. The community is characterized by large lot development with animal rights and is a major crossroads for transportation and utilities between Salt Lake and Utah Counties. Bluffdale City is also home to one of the longest sections of the Jordan River corridor.

DOG LICENSING & RABIES CLINIC

The Bluffdale City Animal Control will hold a dog licensing and rabies clinic on February 11, 2012.  It will be held at the Fire Station - 14350 South 2200 West.  The clinic begins at 8 am and will go until noon.

Don’t forget...Bluffdale City requires all dogs to be licensed each year.  Any license that is not renewed by the end of February each year will be charged a late fee.  The licensing fees are as follows:

Spayed or Neutered:                   $10/dog
Non-Spayed or Neutered:            $15/dog
Late fee                                    $15/dog

All licensing will be done at our Redwood Road building - 14175 South Redwood Road.  Please call 801-254-2200 with any questions.

MISS BLUFFDALE REGISTRATION

All young women ages 17 to 25...the Miss Bluffdale Pageant will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012.  Orientation will be held for all contestants at 10 am on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 14350 South 2200 West.  Applications are due by March 1st at 5 pm.  Winners will be given scholarships in the following amounts:

Miss Bluffdale - $1,500
First Attendant - $750
Second Attendant - $500

Tickets are $6 per person / 4 tickets for $20 - a great bargain.
