The CERT Map shows Bluffdale as one AREA divided geographically into 14 SECTIONS. The legend shows potential hazards that each Section’s Citizens living therein should prepare for in the event of a natural disaster or overwhelming emergency.

It is encouraged that each SECTION be divided into GROUPS of 8 to 12 homes, with an indoor/outdoor STAGING AREA located per GROUP along with an indoor/outdoor STAGING AREA per SECTION.

Citizens can find out who their Section Leader is by contacting Bluffdale City at 254-2200. The Section Leader can provide more information in regards to specific Group organization, emergency plans, Section CERT Trained Individuals, and Staging Area details.
