| Existing CERT Members
are welcome to come to a refresher course, or to make-up for
any module(s) missed. If you participate in a CERT class at
another agency, upon completion, please submit the required
documentation indicating where the course was taken, which
module(s) were attended, when it was completed and have it
signed by the State Accredited CERT Instructor.
Bluffdale City is an accredited State CERT Program. If
you can’t attend here, we recommend verifying with
the Bluffdale City Emergency Program Manager for recognized
State Accredited Programs.
**FYI Bringing your COMPLETE CERT gear indicates previous
training and allows for free attendance.

Community
Emergency Response Team (CERT) promotes a partnering effort
between emergency services and the people they serve. The
goal is for emergency personnel to train citizens in basic
response skills. CERT members are then integrated into the
emergency response capability of their neighborhoods as CERT
citizen volunteers.
**FYI CERT Members trained prior
to 2006 are encouraged to update their skills and knowledge
to the current CERT standards. Questions? Feel free to
contact Bluffdale City’s Emergency Program Manager,
Linda Robertson at characters2@gmail.com or
call 253-8655.
