A
municipal election will be held this fall to elect a Mayor
and two City Council members. Candidates for Mayor and
City Council seats are At Large and will serve four (4)
year terms.
DECLARATION
OF CANDIDACY
Begins: July 1, 1009 and Ends: July 15, 2009
Citizens desiring
to run for office must file a “Declaration of Candidacy” with
the Bluffdale City Recorder. The forms will be available
in the office of the Bluffdale City Recorder beginning
July 1, 2009. The filing period will run: July 1, 2009
through July 15, 2009, during regular City Hall hours:
8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday – recorder’s
office is located at 14350 South 2200 West.
A candidate must have been a resident of Bluffdale City for at least 12 months
(365 days) immediately prior to the date of the election (November 3, 2009).
All candidates must be a current registered voter. |
